Welcome. An apology is an order to my regulars if you came to this page instead of the “usual”. I have been hosting with the free 000webhost.com. It provides more than enough space and good service. It guarantees up to 95.5% uptime. Its drawback, to me, is the many automatic functions limitations with my blogging platform. I could not properly save the database to transfer content to my new host. So I have to start again from scratch. Apart from that, features are good and I would recommend to anyone just starting out. At the least you could learn using the cPanel and be proficient before using the paid ones like Hostgator.
I am using the Expert WordPress script and Traffic Getting plugin at this new host. Very good scripts for SEO it seems. We’ll see how it goes.. I removed all plugins just to see how it affects my site rankings. Now coupled with not updating for quite some time, my site have downgraded in rankings, both the page rank of 2 and Alexa due to extended non-updating content. Still couldn’t make my PC to work after being put out of commission by malware ravages plus sudden outages which corrupted important necessary system files.
I am still thinking of how to revive the PC without formating. I could not reinstall the OS. Can’t remember what the error message was, but it just wouldn’t.
I am doing up this website on borrowed laptop. I hope to include back all those previous content where possible. I could not login to the blog to access because the password is in the PC and not in my head or written elsewhere! I have got me a new laptop and now starting to post. I have added Amazon Marketplace with default keyword “secret steps”. However you can change the keywords to any of your choice to search the marketplace. I love Amazon for its range of high quality products at comparatively good prices. Once in a while I have also added recommended products in the postings.
These few days, sometimes you will arrive at the orginal host site since I haven’t deleted the DNS settings, hoping to salvage the contents. Then you will get an error page on clicking a link. I apologise for that experience.
Update
I have deleted the DNS settings of my former host. It gets to become troublesome when the site changes from the present to the earlier host in the middle of some work.
I have problems with my posting. Errors cropped up and content do not appear. On clicking the post link, I’ll get the 404 – page not found – error.
Tinkering within the admin area, I finally solved the problem when I revert the permalinks setting to default. Tomorrow I’ll tinker again with the settings to see whether changing the setting to custom as suggested by the SEO plugin will work this time.
I have added a new category – Organic Gardening. I will share novel systems I found that will benefit us all, especially as in health, budget and time. I will appreciate if my readers would also share their knowledge and experiences in this same niche.
